The Parks and Wildlife Legacy Society

We know there are many estate and beneficiary gifts designated to the South Dakota Parks and Wildlife Foundation across the state. We know the names of only a small fraction of these great people who are making these deferred gifts! Those willing to share the news of their deferred gift will be listed as members of our Parks and Wildlife Legacy Society and receive a beautiful pheasant stick pin. More important, they will encourage others to consider Leaving a Legacy.

A gift in your will is a great way to leave a legacy of natural resources, outdoor education or recreation to future South Dakotans and keep our outdoor heritage alive.

Sample bequest language:

"I give to the South Dakota Parks and Wildlife Foundation, located in Pierre, South Dakota, the sum
of $ _______ (or a portion of the estate, a particular asset in the estate, or a specific property) to be used by the Foundation wherever the need is greatest (or for a specific purpose)."
